Sexy long link earrings with great movement and sleek style. Named after the ancient practice of stacking irregular stones to create a balanced tower, each link is made by hand and has its own, unique and slightly irregular shape. The mixed metal version (shown) also boasts the teensiest bit of asymmetry in where the single silver link is placed in the series of four links.
Created solely from found objects from the landscape, the practice of making cairns has existed since prehistoric times. They were used as markers, sometimes of paths or boundaries, or to mark food caches or even tombs.
The final image shows the Cairn Earrings paired with the Cairn Necklace.
